A fully open weapons detection system made of two independent, self-powered pillars with no mechanical or electrical connection between them. Automatically screens people in transit with luggage, backpacks and bags, detecting mass-casualty threats such as high-calibre assault rifles and IEDs. Portable (~15 kg pillar), set up in under 1 minute.
